'We all have our daily routines, weekly schedules, and even bigger seasons to our lives. But what about God and the seasons He has in bringing salvation to our world?
This Sunday morning, we will look at the season Jesus calls us to live in after the great events of His death and Resurrection. We will compare it to God’s clock and ask ourselves what hour we are living in with Him today. The challenge will be to situate our lives on God’s clock and live our lives by it.
In preparation spend some time in the Gospel of Matthew 16 and Acts 1.
Our texts will be Matt 16:28 and Acts 1:3,8.'

Navigating COVID-19
During the pandemic, Immanuel staff and volunteers have found many ways to foster connections with our congregation and community.
From sharing community concerns, praying with and for each other, making calls and texts, delivering flowers to our shut ins and printed emails to those without internet, to dropping off gift bags to our Sunday School kids – many people have been involved in ensuring the Immanuel community stays connected to each other during this time.

Our church name is Immanuel which means “God with us.” Our name is one of our foundational beliefs – that God is with us in everything that happens. Immanuel is one of the names of Jesus, God’s own Son, who came into this world . . .

Worship at Immanuel
Worship at Immanuel is a time for our community to gather together to bring praise to God, to share our lives and stories with each other, and to hear what God has to say to us through the Bible. Our hope is that worship mirrors our relationship with God, and so gives us opportunity as a community to pray, sing, reflect, lament, offer, listen, and respond to the challenges of the Bible. Through the Holy Spirit, we pray that our worship will transform our lives so that we grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ our Saviour.
